Can morning sickness vary?

Can morning sickness vary?

Can morning sickness vary, and not be as bad some days as others. Does it mean that something is wrong if it is not the same (as severe) each day?

Our midwife Melissa says:

"Yes, morning sickness can (and does) vary.  Sometimes it will be mostly in the morning or later at night, while other times it will be throughout the day.  Sometimes you’ll have a period of a few days where you feel sick (and perhaps even vomit) every day, while other times you’ll have a day or two of feeling almost normal.  This variation is all very normal."

This answer was written for Birth by midwife Melissa Maimann from Essential Birth Consulting.
