Some women (and their partners) will use natural therapies to help them deal with the labour process. Some remedies are also used to treat shock. These are not meant to help with the overwhelming enormity of what has happened (and the accompanying sense of loss), but they may be of some support to you at this time.
Remedies for shock can include:

Bach flower remedies, such as rescue remedy or emergency essence. |

Homoeopathic remedies can include Aconitum napellus, Arnica montana, Ignatia amara, Phosphorus or Stramonium. Ask your homoeopath. |
A few women will use natural therapies to help stimulate their labour to start. However, these may not work immediately, and will usually depending on the woman's individual response. During this vulnerable time you may not wish to, or feel unable to seek out these therapies, unless you are already using them.
If you have been consulting a natural therapist throughout your pregnancy, then you may feel comfortable about seeing this person now, in the hope of starting the labour naturally. A home, or hospital, visit consultation from your therapist may be an ideal way of seeking out the most appropriate treatment for you.
Alternatively, some women will seek out some form of natural therapy to start the labour themselves. Some common methods can include:
Homeopathy. These can include Caulophyllum and Cimicifuga, Aconite and / or Pulsatilla. Consult with your homoeopath to have a remedy prescribed specifically for you. You could phone them for a verbal consultation, and arrange to have the remedies couriered to you (or get someone to pick them up).
Acupuncture. If you have been seeing a qualified acupuncturist during the pregnancy, you might want to contact them, and explain what has happened. They may be able to see you reasonably soon.
