Some women will use natural therapies to help reduce stress on their liver, with the aim of lowering the possibility of needing interventions and / or the baby becoming unwell. Check with your caregiver or practitioner.

These may include:

Acupuncture or acupressure.
Herbal treatments such as dandelion, alfalfa, burdock and yellow dock, see your herbalist.
Homoeopathic remedies, which may include Chelidonium majus or China officinalis, see your homoeopath.
Drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day and avoiding fatty foods.
rest and relaxation.
