Breathing and sleep position monitors
In recent years, baby sound monitors have become more popular. These allow parents or carers to hear a baby cry when they are not within earshot of where the baby is sleeping. Most monitors work like a 'one way walkie-talkie'. The parents or carer can hear the baby's noises, but the baby cannot hear noise from where the receiver is situated.
